Personalise additional advice
You can support your customers to identify their allergen and then give tips on how to reduce exposure:
- If they suffer from hayfever, you could encourage them to mark on a calendar when their symptoms are worse. They can then compare this to a pollen calendar and identify the likely trigger
- If house dust mites are the trigger, you can advise customers that, whilst it’s impossible to eradicate house dust mites completely, they can reduce them by:8
- Reducing soft furnishings, such as cushions, which gather dust
- Washing bedding at 60 degrees
- Keeping windows and doors open as much as possible
- Use a damp cloth when dusting, which stops the dust from getting into the air.
