There are some simple do’s and don’ts you can recommend for helping to maintain a healthy vaginal microbiome.1,2 You can advise customers:
Do:

Use water to wash the genital area

Have showers instead of baths
Don’t:

Use perfumed soaps, bubble bath, shampoo or shower gel in the bath

Use vaginal deodorants, washes or douches

Put antiseptic liquids in the bath

Use strong detergents to wash underwear

Wear tight clothes or synthetic underwear
