As we get older we may be prone to more health issues, such as incontinence, high blood pressure, diabetes, flu complications and hearing loss. You can advise customers on how to look after their health, including referring them for hearing and eye tests, making lifestyle changes and having the flu vaccine. 

After reading this module, you will: 

• Be able to advise older customers on the health checks that may be appropriate for them 
• Understand some of the common health issues that may occur as people age
• Be able to provide support to customers who are worried about hypertension.
